Pins, photos and comments stay private to your people — no feed, no strangers, no noise. 28 PIN TYPES BUILT IN Mark fishing spots, campsites, trailheads, hazards, water sources, parking, fuel, first aid, summits, swim holes and wildlife sightings — the map speaks your crew's language out of the box. Planning something social? Drop pins for parties, live music, game nights, movie nights, meetup points, photo spots, markets, sales and free finds. FORGE YOUR OWN ICONS Describe an icon and SQUAD'r draws it, then keeps it in a personal locker that follows you into every squad. The moment you place one, your squad sees it. Seven marker shells — Ranger, Tactical, Relic and more — mean the same pin looks different depending on who dropped it. Every shell and frame is free. PUBLISH A PUBLIC GUIDE Flip one switch and your squad's pins become a guide anyone can browse and comment on, while your chat, member list and live locations stay private. Turn it off and the guide disappears the same second. SCAVENGER HUNTS Build tasks around real places, start the countdown and race. Photo proof, map check-ins, secret codes, teams, ordered tasks and bonus scoring. Perfect for team events, trips, bachelor parties and long weekends. SPY VS SPY A real-world game of tag that runs for days. Sneak up on squadmates on the map, go for a tag and beat the surprise mini-game to wriggle free — outlast everyone to take the title. CHAT AROUND THE MAP Squad chat with pin cards, photo sharing and an updates log so you can see everything happening on the map at a glance. ANONYMOUS BY DESIGN Usernames only. No real names required. Location sharing is optional and foreground-only, and report and block tools are available anywhere in the app. FREE TO USE Every map, squad, pin, hunt and game is free, with no limit on squads, members or pins. The only metered part is generating brand-new AI artwork, which costs us real money to run: three free forges arrive every day, and one run gives you four icons to pick from. SQUAD PASS — AN OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION Squad Pass costs $2.99 per month and raises two limits: 50 icon forges a day instead of 3, and an unlimited icon locker instead of 10. That is everything it changes — no feature in SQUAD'r is locked behind it. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for $2.99 each month unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings; your Pass keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. Icons you forged are yours to keep whatever happens to the Pass. Not subscribing? Forge credit packs are one-off purchases — 10, 30 or 100 extra forges that never expire, from $1.99. Either way, 3 free forges land every day, every pin shell and avatar frame stays free, and any icon your squad already owns is free to place forever.
