If you like frequent crashes, this is the app for U!! This app used to be enjoyable, but no longer is able to function as it claims. I was really into the crash-free version, but barely play with it anymore;(

This app is tons of fun to play. I always find myself looking for a quick little game to play that loads fast and is fast paced that I can play when I have a few minutes. I always seem to pick Squares out of the many apps loaded on my phone. This game doesn't seem to get boring! My daughters (8 and 11) are even able to pick it up and play easily. After playing the game a few many times I was thinking of a couple cool additions. When u turn a square to yellow u should get half the points u would when turning one green. Some additional bonuses would also be a plus. For instance getting all four corners green could give u 15 points or making an entire row or column green would give you 25 points, etc. One other perk could be when you level up you get 2 additional shakes added to ur available shake count. I haven't really found any issues with this app yet. It always loads, never seems to crash and is well worth .99.

Squares! is not your average puzzle. The layout of the game from the directional themes to the 3 strikes rule make it a fairly unique offering. The random layouts offer a real challenge and the shake system has been revised in this version to be refillable. With the inclusion of OpenFeint you can now compare your scores versus the global leader boards and play against the tops scores. Taking your own pictures for the game pieces is fun but the original faces are just too well done for me to avoid using them. Each update has brought a quality improvement and new feature along with it. Ciretose clearly knows what they are doing.

Love this game. Very appealing and a great value. I'm always sad when a square dies. : (The new sounds are kind of jarring. I much prefer the subtle sounds of the original. I don't mind that the squares say an audible hello, but as is, I can see that these abrupt sounds will start to irritate quickly. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer. Otherwise, I do love Squares!
