New app is miles ahead of the old one
New look and feel and ease of use is much better. Also happy I can do literally everything in the app that I can on the desktop!
The option to deposit a check on the app doesn’t work.
When I use the deposit a check it ask to take a picture of the front and back of the check, also include the amount on the check. I do as ask and then it says I need a endorsement when clearly I have. The app either closes down or logs me off when I try to do this. It has worked for me before and I didn’t even endorse my check last time. This is suppose to be a easy way to deposit my check, not to make it more difficult. If none of these options the app gives us work then the app is just to check your balance in your bank account. I think it’s time to fix the app.
Problems with deposit
I spend five minutes trying to deposit a check in the new version of the app today. I tried retaking the pictures and I tried hitting the submit button over and over again but the app wouldn’t accept the deposit nor give a reason for not accepting the deposit. Finally after hitting submit four times after the most recent pictures, it accepted the deposit. No idea why the same information was denied three times before. How is it that St. Mary’s Bank keeps pouring money into technology for online banking and the technology just keeps getting worse?
