Hosting a local game is now a one-time purchase. Joining stays free. If someone else hosts, you can join on the same WiFi as often as you like, and you don't need the purchase to play. This was free for everyone before, and the change applies to games you host from now on. If you buy it, Restore brings it back after a reinstall or on a new phone.

Shorter join codes. A local game's code used to be seven characters shown with dashes. On most home WiFi it's now four, and there are no dashes to type. Codes also no longer use letters that look like digits, so one read out loud is harder to get wrong. Everyone playing together needs this update. A phone on the older version can't join a game hosted from this one. Your record at the end of a game. Wins and losses at the difficulty you just played now show on the results screen, instead of only in your profile.
