Stenograf is private memory for conversations you cannot give to the cloud. It records calls and meetings, transcribes them on your Mac, remembers speakers, and answers questions with citations to the passages it used. No bot joins the call, and nothing is sent to a transcription service. RECORD Capture what your computer plays and what your microphone picks up as two separate sources. Record calls or conversations in the room with the Record meeting button. Optional calendar reminders help you start at meeting time. In Google Meet, the optional browser companion can prompt after you join. Auto-start is enabled separately and shows a cancelable 20-second countdown. REMEMBER Turn speech into readable, speaker-attributed transcript blocks. Name a voice from clear speech and Stenograf can recognize it in later recordings. Search, correct, label, and revisit saved conversations in Meetings. A local language model prepares summaries and follow-ups on your Mac. ASK Use Chats to ask what was decided, who said what, or where a topic came up across your saved conversations. Each answer cites the exact transcript passages behind it, so you can inspect the evidence in context. PUT MEETINGS TO WORK Experimental follow-ups turn what was agreed into drafts you review: tasks, customer replies and meetings to schedule, each with the passage it came from. Nothing is sent to Slack, Jira, or another connected service until you confirm it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Audio and complete transcripts stay on your Mac. Transcript excerpts leave only in feedback you review and confirm or an individual item you choose to send through a connected service. Stenograf does not add a recording bot to your meeting or send speech to a transcription service. SUBSCRIPTION A Stenograf subscription unlocks on-device transcription, speaker separation, and Chats. Speech models download for initial setup; summaries and Chats need a configured local language model. Once downloaded, these models run on your Mac.
