Love this Creator

Honestly I love these creators, I have played the music version, the stock version, and the Hollywood version. This by far is probably my favorite game thus far. I love how every game they build upon the existing system while also introducing new components to the game. Now hear me out Chimpanzee, I think you have the ability to do something great here with maybe some cross integration. I know you just had a huge update but what if for the next one you allow your books to get picked up as movie deals. Maybe they allow you limited choices but ultimately they could buy the rights just like a publisher but maybe for more money and more royalties. I think that would be a cool concept. I’ve created an 8 book series like Harry Potter and it would be cool if you could negotiate a deal like that to make even more money on those books. Think about it! You have a great gem here!

Love this Game. Suggestions

I love this game. Can’t stop playing it. It’s amazing. I have some suggestions. Maybe we can have an option to write movie scripts. Additionally, it would be great if we have an option to open our own publishing company and be able to publish other novels that aren’t ours. Also, add awards. I know that in real world you can win literature awards. That might be something cool to look into. Another thing I thought of would be a quick addition to authors profile where it would have a section that list all books that became Bestsellers. There are other things you can also play with if you implement the having your own publishing company like be able to pitch to stores (Barnes and noble ex) to sell the books. Idk.

Bugs and Incomplete

The game is very fun and addictive overall, but the fact that agents seem impossible to get even after hours and hours of playing is weird. I’m basically locked out of the top publishers. Much like the movie star game, there seems to be no real progression. I max all my skills and publish very high quality books and yet I can’t get into the top 5 publishers and I can’t get any good sales, like enough to buy a home or nice vehicle. Very frustrating, especially because I paid for more energy to save myself time and it seems that was a waste.

There are also some UI bugs like not being able to change book prices. The developers here have a great formula but the progression on these games is very poor. If you are reading this, please improve progress and flesh out the “end game.” It would make these games infinitely more replayable.
