Turn any photo into a visual measuring tool. Overlay an angular grid, align your reference, and easily measure directions and angles directly on the image. Stria turns a photo into a visual measuring tool by overlaying an adjustable angular grid that makes it easy to read horizontal directions and angles directly from the image. Open a photo from your library, align 0° with your chosen reference point, and select the grid spacing that best suits your measurement. Angular reference lines are drawn directly over the image, turning the photograph itself into a visual reference. Stria can determine the angular coverage of an image in several ways: - EXIF: uses focal length metadata together with the selected sensor profile to estimate the camera's field of view. - 360°: for complete panoramic images covering the full horizontal field. - Cylindrical: for partial panoramas whose angular coverage is known or can be estimated. - Manual: directly enter the total horizontal angle represented by the image. - 2 Points: place two references on visible landmarks and enter their known angular separation to calibrate the image. Move the 0° reference freely and adjust the angular grid spacing from 5° to 45°. Stria also displays the estimated image coverage, EXIF field of view, and angular resolution in pixels per degree. Sensor profiles are available for several common formats, including iPhone Wide, iPhone Ultra Wide, 1-inch, APS-C, and Full Frame. Field-of-view estimates can also be adjusted manually when working with cropped images, incomplete metadata, or particular camera and lens configurations. When your measurement is complete, save an annotated copy of the image to your photo library with the measurement overlay included. Stria is designed for anyone who needs to extract angular information from photographs, panoramic images, and visual references without turning a simple task into a complicated measurement process.
