Start with Tutorial Mode: 24 guided lessons that take you from six open strings and first-position melodies to richer rhythm, position shifts, pentatonic phrases, fingerpicking, triads, and hammer-ons/pull-offs. See finger placement on an interactive fretboard, hear an example, then try it at your own pace. Standard notation stays visible, with optional tablature when you want it.
Follow See it, Hear it, Try it, and Recap. Explore notes, step through a phrase, loop an example, and answer friendly note-location and technique questions. Every lesson is open from the start. Your progress records participation, with no grades or pressure.
Songbook · Familiar Classics adds 20 recognizable traditional tunes and classical themes, each with separate Melody and Chords arrangements. Follow the melody note by note, or practice an original voiced guitar accompaniment. Every sounding chord tone lights up on its own string. Choose a tune, switch arrangements, and return to each arrangement’s saved tempo and position.
Free Practice includes 18 original single-note exercises covering open strings, string crossings, first-position melodies, rests, and varied rhythms. Read notation and tablature while the current note and guitar position light up together.
Pause, resume, restart, seek, and adjust BPM without changing pitch. Songbook and Free Practice also offer measure loops, a metronome, count-in, alternate fingerings, tuning, capo, and transposition. Choose a left-handed fretboard display throughout the app.
All songs, lessons, exercises, playback, progress, and saved practice settings work offline. No account, advertising, subscription, or music uploads.
Tutorial Mode uses standard tuning with no capo. It includes open chords, small major/minor triads, a two-string barre, and connected lead phrases through original examples. It does not listen to or grade your playing. Photo scanning and external score import are not included.
