The project aims to bridge the generation gap, and promote active ageing.
STRONG2GETHER app aims to address the social and health challenges such as isolation, loneliness, social and digital exclusion, mental health issues, lifelong learning opportunities and distress through a dual volunteering system where young people (YP) will offer their support to seniors and seniors will offer their mentoring skills. The project aims to bridge the generation gap, and promote active ageing. The project aims to design, develop and pilot-test a Community Lifelong Learning Programme and Platform to support the mental well-being of seniors aiming to promote intergenerational solidarity and social inclusion of seniors in the digital age.
