Meet Stronger by the Day by Megsquats: A group training app dedicated to making you the strongest lifter you can be – in the gym, or at home.
If you’ve been cherry-picking workouts from online influencers or have seen a plateau in strength, it’s time to find a dedicated strength program – and coach – that provides you with a focused path to a stronger you. With Meg Gallagher, aka Megsquats, at the helm, we take care of all the planning; all you have to do is show up and put in the work.
The Gym version of Stronger by the Day is all about building muscle and getting stronger. Your training is built around progressions on give main lifts: squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press, and hip thrust. Complemented by rotating accessory lifts from our library of 400+ movements, you’ll be lifting more weight, building more muscle, and having more fun in training – all while doing it alongside thousands of other lifters who are on the same journey. There’s also an Express version of the Gym program for those who need to limit their training time to 40-60 minutes.
While most at-home training programs center on gimmicky exercise combinations that leave you out of breath, Stronger by the Day hits differently. Our Bodyweight program is every bit as intentional as our in-gym training, taking an intentional progression-based approach to building strength. We help you utilize body weight and simple pieces of equipment – like bands – to still make progress even without the use of barbells or machines.
Stronger by the Day has features that help make it incredibly simple for you to continue getting stronger with a multitude of customizations, including:
– Adjustable weekly split with 3, 4, and 5 day/week options
– Suggested weights for each main lift based on previous training sessions, as well as a reference to recent performance for all accessories
– Brand new week of programming released every Sunday
– Explanations and in-app video demonstrations for every movement in our exercise library of 400+ movements
– Detailed video and written weekly notes with the exact training focus of any given week, as well as the broader context of where we are in a training cycle
– Extensive video resource library to help you improve technique and continue learning, not only about lifting but about nutrition to support your training goals
– Swap out movements when you need to with our easy-to-access substitutions library
– In-app training journal to track your results
– Stats section that visually features squat, bench, deadlift, and overhead press
– Option to select weight unit of kilograms (kg) or pounds (lbs)

Best fitness app on the market

I wanted to give this app/program some time before I left a review. Ive been following SBTD for the last5 months and can honestly say I absolutely love this app! I did the 7 day free trial and decided to stay on since I loved it so much. I’ve tried several fitness apps over the last several years but this one blows me away the most. The ability to track your weights and reps, being able to easily substitute exercises, the form cues and library of exercises - all of it is so superior to anything I’ve tried (sweat, evolve you, playbook, FBK, trainerize, etc). My favorite feature is how the app calculates and tells you what weight to use for the primary lifts and it will tell you when to increase your training max as well. I also love that you can easily see you stat progression on your main lifts too. Very cool to see how much my strength ebbs and flows with the programming. The added bonus of having a warm up and conditioning to the workouts is also really great. A recent feature that was released is the ability to change how many days a week you want/can train - and the app will automatically tweak your scheduled workouts for you so you’re able to still train with the intended focus, intensity and volume with the current program without feeling like you’re missing anything. This is really helpful for those weeks or seasons you just can’t get in the 5 workouts a week.

I love this app I love you Meg

I love how versatile this app is. I can substitute any exercise if I don’t have the equipment while still targeting the prescribed muscle group. You get access to a whole library of movements with written instructions AND videos. When it comes to the actual work out it’s broken up in a way that makes us seem really manageable while definitely pushing your limits or whatever you feel you need to do that day (the weight and reps are ultimately up to you). But what I love most is how the program keeps things interesting. I’m constantly learning new movements with tips on how to execute and perfect them. I’ve had trouble sticking with things before because I get bored of doing the same thing or it feels daunting or like I’m not doing the movement right and just hurting myself. With stronger by the day I feel like I have the support to do it the right way and constantly improve. I’m actually looking forward to my next work out and learning new movements and combinations. I love watching the instructional videos too! Definitely feel like I’m getting stronger by the day and building a loving relationship with exercising as a whole. It’s not just lifting weights it’s so much more! Band work, mobility, body weight work and mental strengthening. I love it

The app you’ve been missing to ACTUALLY get stronger!!

I can’t say enough good things about SBTD. I’ve spent years being duped by the lies of fitness influencers with good genetics, but SBTD is the real deal. If you’re paying for a gym and you actually want to get stronger, this app is the best $10 you’ll spend a month. I spent a year working with a personal trainer for 10x the cost and half of the results that I’ve seen with SBTD. I’m hitting numbers in my major lifts that I never dreamed were possible and seeing muscle growth in places I never have before. All without injury!! I coach rock climbing and I recommend this app to all of my women and non-binary clients as supplemental training because the app is so customizable and the training is so effective at improving overall strength and confidence in movement. I love the latest updates, especially for time zones and the express options for my busier clients. I can see how this programming would be less than ideal for a high level competition power lifter and most folks won’t see quite the kind of aesthetic results as with bodybuilder training, but if you want to participate in some of the most cost-effective programming for strength gain and overall fitness, download this app and keep showing up!
