Works ok. Attendance is misspelled in the attendance window. Can you make it so the students fill the entire screen rather than just crunched up at the top? It would also be nice to change the backgrounds to our own liking.

Thank You For Your Review! A spread-out seating option has been added, and seating charts that are not spread out should now be centered. Starting with v4.23, the 'spread out' option should not just spread them out but bias the seats towards the center if there's extra room. In May 2025, I readdressed some of these issues, as both spreading out seats and centering needed some fixes. Several spellings have been corrected. I blame that on the fact that, as a developer, I prefer small fonts so I can fit more on the screen, while at the same time being in my 50s and having relatively poor vision.

Let’s face it, there aren’t too many seating chart apps out there. I’ve probably tried them all. As someone who has 500+ students a week, a seating chart app with pictures is crucial for my job. The downfall of this app is that visually, it isn’t the greatest when it comes to graphics appeal. It is a little wonky in the beginning trying to navigate all the menus and how to do certain things. However, once you get used to it, it’s all good. The app works perfectly and does everything I need for a music teacher needing something like this. BONUS points for the developer Robert who is quick to respond to emails and suggestions!!!

Thanks for the review, suggestions, and kind words. As you and others asked, photo seats have been added. I know there's room for improvement in the photos. Additionally, someone from Thailand (not all reviews may be visible to users from other countries) also requested a rounded photo option for the seats, which I have added as a toggle option on the menu. I later added photos to display on the 'Random Student Picks' option as well. Still, now you have a little more control on the top right ("hamburger") menu on pick random students, as it offers you to show the students large (full screen), smaller (below the name), or you can opt not to show students photos on that menu as well.

I love this app for organizing all my classes and seating charts. You can move students to new seats with a touch of a button. Very user friendly for creating groups and for cold calling on students with the random student button.

The few things I didn’t like about the app I emailed to the designer and he fixed within a day! I’ve been looking for a good class management app for a while now and this one is really good.

Thank you again for taking the time to write a review. (And also for your suggestions!). Most of your requests were easy to address. For example, I had specifically biased screens so that they would appear in either portrait or landscape mode only, because those screens were not optimized for the opposite orientation. By your request, I have disabled the orientation locks. It took me a while longer to make some of those screens more usable in the opposite orientation -- there are still things that need to be tested in that department and may need to be fixed as well.
