Nice app, but watching for unauthorized charges

I saw an ad for the app and opted to pay $1 and sign up for the free trial. They are definitely sneaky though and make it difficult to cancel the free trial. I signed up with my Apple account thinking it would go under my Apple subscriptions and I could easily cancel, but no, it was not in my subscriptions list. When you go to the settings on the app it prompts you to go to the desktop version to cancel, where there are a couple different attempts to get you to stay before allowing you to fully cancel. I screenshot my cancellation confirmation and I received a confirmation email, so I have proof should they fraudulently charge my account. It’s actually a fine app, but their practices seem very predatory. Just beware.

Terrible Customer Service

Based on the response received, it has come to my attention that customer service is not a focal point of your company. Due to your response, I will have no interest in attempting to explore your app during those 30 days, therefore, solidifying that I will not be a potential customer in the future. I do not support businesses who take pride in locking people in on subscriptions before it is too late, and claiming fairness. If a customer is not interested, and requests a cancelation within a reasonable amount of time, I see no reason it shouldn’t be respected, in effort to at least appear like your business has interest in the customers they are serving. I cancelled my subscription the INSTANT I was notified it was initiated. I attempted to cancel the subscription last night, but could not see any record of it on my iOS. This is a bad look on your company and my experience will absolutely be reflected on the rating I give it. I appreciated the trial, but didn’t find the cost to reflect what I would use it for. I could have walked away as a potential future customer giving a five star review. Now, I am walking away as a non-customer giving a bad review, based on the lack of customer service. Customer service is everything, and your are pocketing $30 at the expense of a bad review.

Stylix is a scam :(
This app and their team is bad actor and scammers. First of all, their subscription was not via apple’s payment gateway, meaning, they tried to voice the high tax from Apple Store, which is understandable. Then I canceled the subscription and even deleted my account. Starting then, they have been attempting to put a charge on my card every other day. My card detected this as an abnormal activity so declined it from the beginning but I had to change my card number and also changed all associated recurrent payments. I contacted Apple, they confirmed it is Stylix’s issue. I also have been and still are contacting Stylix service team but they refused to help. They keep asking me to check the subscription under my Apple ID, but I also keep telling them they didn’t use Apple Store subscription module to begin with. This is truly the worst experience ever. I still don’t understand why they can’t just go to check their payment gateway admin and cancel it from there. Truly the worst experience ever.

I decided to try this app through their free trial that was $9.99, however after authorizing payment I was charged three times. One being the $9.99 and the other two $30. In the end I was charged over $60 and I had to go back-and-forth with customer service. They first denied my refund saying that I authorize the payment.
