Add what you pay for — streaming, software, gym, storage, the lot — and Subception turns it into something you can actually act on. Monthly and yearly totals at a glance. What renews this week. What quietly went up in price. What you saved by cancelling.
It handles the awkward cases properly: free trials that need a decision before they bill, annual plans, quarterly billing, custom cycles, paused subscriptions, and subscriptions in other currencies.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY
Subception collects nothing. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising, no third-party framework and no server of ours anywhere. The only thing the app ever fetches is the European Central Bank's public exchange-rate feed, anonymously and without a key, so multi-currency figures stay current.
iCloud sync is private to you — device to device through your own account. We never see it.

A tidying-up release. Mostly us fixing things we would rather you had not seen.
- Built-in categories no longer turn up twice when you use Subception on two devices. They were being enthusiastic. Existing duplicates now tidy themselves away on launch
- Cleaner currency display: plain symbols (£, $, €) instead of "US$", and no more stray .00 on round numbers
- Amounts priced in another currency now show the equivalent in yours — on the detail screen, in lists, in widgets and in the menu bar. Multi-currency is free for everyone from this release
- Your data is now always saved on this device, even when iCloud is having a moment
- A new iCloud panel in Settings: where your data lives, what is stored on this device, when iCloud last sent anything, and a Sync Now button that tells you the truth about what happened
- Sample subscriptions now ask before they pile in, and can be removed in one step. Sorry about that
- The free version covers 5 subscriptions. Anything already in your library stays put and fully editable whatever the count, and Pro and Founder remain unlimited
