Works and is a good tool now

Update again: Wow you nailed it and made the programming easier. Love the finger controls for setting it. All settings work and connect. It’s still has an issue getting back on in the middle of a time lapse but no longer goes bonkers. Really good work. Look forward to the time lapse warping tools like the SliderONE pro if possible. Great job.

Update: The updates do a lot more and are great but the auto pan mode doesn’t work or even open at all. I have downloaded several times and updated the firmware several times and it still doesn’t open. this is a feature I greatly need to be operational and I can’t even open it. Same problem on two different iOS devices. Please fix ASAP.

Old v1:I have been testing my newly delivered SurfaceONE before my shoot tomorrow and finding the app will need some tweaking. I have found in reconnecting it at times will stop a time-lapse and cause it to go crazy which for now has spooked me from doing any shots on a table or high surface for now. I have resorted to just setting a timer instead of checking the app for now. I would also love to see a recording of movement feature similar to the slider apps. The tracking is a bit buggy but I can handle by adjusting the slightly. Impressed by the unit just need the app to be a tad smoother to be five stars

Thanks but....

Auto pan mode no longer working despite many improved features... beware if autopan is important to you then don’t update.

Basically useless now

So because you have a new version of the device and the app, you aren’t going to bother updating this app, even though the device still works fine? Sorry, but is this even legal? You make a device that relies entirely on the functionality of the app, then when you update that device and app, you basically force people to buy the new device because the old app no longer works? My device is only a couple years old! It works perfectly well until the app crashes. There’s no reason for me to buy the new one when this one does everything I need it to do. So instead of buying a new device from Edelkrone, or recommending your products to other professionals (as I used to do), I will find somewhere else. Because this is unacceptable! I’m sure a single person on your software development team could figure this out in no time
