SymbolBuilder takes any vector artwork — an SVG you drew in your favorite editor, a logo, or an existing SF Symbols template — and turns it into a fully working custom symbol. Weight variants, multicolor layers, and the exact template structure Xcode expects are all handled for you.

Drop in an SVG (filled or stroked), an Illustrator or Inkscape export, or an SF Symbols template file. SymbolBuilder reads your groups as separate layers and lands everything on the symbol grid automatically.
All nine weights, generated for you
From Ultralight to Black, SymbolBuilder builds the weight masters from your Regular artwork. One tap of Auto-Suggest estimates your line width and applies the same proportions Apple uses in its own symbols — then fine-tune anything with a slider.
Multicolor & hierarchical layers
Assign system palette colors and hierarchical levels per layer. The annotations are embedded in every export, so your symbol looks right in monochrome, hierarchical, palette, and multicolor rendering modes.
Animation and Motion Groups
Control the animation of your Symbols by grouping them in Motion Groups.
A built-in shape editor
Move, resize, and reshape paths, or build a symbol from scratch with lines, curves, circles, ellipses, rectangles, pills, and true continuous-corner squircles. Layer shapes from several SVG files together, and snap everything to the grid, to centers, and to other shapes with live alignment guides.
