Annoying

It’s annoying that I have to have my synth plugged into it to begin writing patterns. It’d be good if I could just write the patterns then plug in my synth whenever and start loading them to the synth. It’d be good as well if it would play the pitch of the notes you’re adding to get an idea of what your pattern will sound like. It’d also be awesome if you could use the app as a sequencer in real time with the TD3 or sequence the RD8.

TD-3 Sequencer Unusable

UPDATED: Ok, this works, just is a horrible design. Anyone else struggling with this, fuss with the yellow tab on the far right. Updated to 4 stars.

PLEASE consider the following: either auto store upon change, or after a cycle, OR a store button in the piano roll. ALSO, please allow resizing of the piano roll. There is no reason to have to scroll that much for 16 steps. Finally, the hold to access accent -surely there is a better way to implement it quickly like the slide. The hold to access that function is unusable with the Apple Pencil.

Thank you for the possibility to edit on iOS though, it’s a huge help!

Previous post: It detects and works properly with my TD-3, except the sequencer page has no controls, and no way to change to any other screen. It requires a force quit. Completely unusable. I’ve waited now 3 updates before writing this, assuming it was a bug and would be fixed. After today’s update, it has not. The MacOS editor works as expected. Please acknowledge and fix this, Behringer...or let me know if you believe this to be some kind of hardware error, which seems incredibly unlikely. 2017 iPad, mini 5, iPhone 7 all have the same issue. Unit sounds great, btw!

Woefully out of date

I was so excited to see an iOS version of this app. I plugged in my Behringer spice and it said device not detected. I went through three cables and lots of head scratching, but it turns out it’s simply that this iOS app hasn’t been updated in so long that it doesn’t recognize multiple synthesizer that Behringer is selling now a days. What a waste of time. If you’re gonna offer an app like this, that helps you manage your devices, Barringer should commit to updating it regularly, so it appropriately represents their current product catalogue. Shame on you Uli!!!
