Tab Notes 4+

Works Great, needs a multi-screen setup capability

I run tabs on my two macs (mbAir for travel; mbPro for office & home), two iPads (12.9 and the latest mini—gen 6), and two iPhones.
The iCloud sync across that 6-device span is near instantaneous and is Tabs' superpower. I've yet to test whether or not I can get my tabs on web-based iCloud. If so, it can become an essential app.
Flaw: when running iPad or Mac and using one or the other as a screen extension (vs 'mirroring'), sometime when crossing over from one screen to the next, Tabs thinks you're trying to create a new tab, especially when the cursor gets sort of 'stuck' in which case Tabs goes ahead and makes a new tab, which you have to then delete so as not to pollute-up your workspace.
Other than that tiny glitch, this is a great, valuable, and useful app.

Closest to perfect!

This app is amazing! Its so easy to use and I love the options you have. Some stickies could be open and left on the actual screen or all of them could be on the side and collapsed if preferred. With the other app Tab Notes created, I also love that I can make whatever stickies I want. I have my favorite characters as my stickies which I love because my laptop feels even more personalized. This stickies app is the best so far for me!

The only downside for me is I have the stickies set up to stay on one screen. But whenever I expand my windows to be on their own, sometimes the stickies follow it. I always want my stickies to stay on the default/desktop windows, but even as I quit the tab notes and use them again, the stickies won't stay on the default windows page. I wish I could have all my windows open and expanded, and my stickies would stay on the default page for better organization.

Update: Great App & developer support

When I purchased the app, I was amazed how much more productive I became. I use this app all day ( and night ). My only hitch was I couldn’t get a screen grab on my Tab Notes. As a Filemaker developer, I was afraid the problem would be related to the fact that I run 3 monitors, each with several spaces. I complained and the developer contacted me with the solution. Now this app is outstanding and works with multiple monitors and spaces. For anyone that uses the mac “Stickies", but gets disappointed how cluttered and unorganized “Stickies" looks on your desktop , “Tab Notes” is the answer. I would give this app more than 5 stars if I could.

Are you talking about “Capture Selection from Screen” service menu item?

What about unchecking “Apply this style to pasted text” in the Default Font setting if you have checked it.
