Every teaching carries a source you can check. Hebrew birth chart, nightly Cheshbon Hanefesh, the 40-day practice, and Mizmor L'Todah, all on your device. Tachlis is a tool for Jewish self-knowledge, built on classical sources and made for daily use. Everything in it is sourced. Tap the ※ beside any teaching and you get the exact place it comes from — tractate and daf, chapter and verse — with the further references that stand behind it and a plain-English note on what each one holds. There are 91 sources and 266 supporting references, and you can browse the whole library inside the app. WHAT'S IN IT Mazal — your Hebrew birth chart Enter your birth date and, if you know it, the time and place. You get the Hebrew date, the month and its mazal, the letter, tribe, sense and organ assigned to it in Sefer Yetzirah, and a reading of the lunar nodes. The Hebrew date accounts for sunset, so an evening birth falls on the next Hebrew day, with daylight saving handled for historical dates. Cheshbon HaNefesh — the nightly accounting A short structured journal in the pattern Ramchal describes: what you're grateful for, what went well, what you'd do differently. It saves as you type. Your history is grouped and searchable, and you can back it up and restore it. 40 Days — one practice, held Take on a single giving practice and keep it for forty days, with a calendar to mark and encouragement along the way.
