Taco John's 4+

1. App Works 90% of time correctly. I do get coupons for freebies in this app. I did get a free combo after 8 punches on my digital rewards card. (TJ’s corporate mobile app marketing response is very frustrating and inattentive to my technical difficulty.)
2. User can not see all 16 digits of barcodes from food receipts when attempting to enter into a iPhone 8+. User gets error rejecting invalid receipt when typos are not able to be corrected due to insufficient size of input field.
3. TJ’s mobile app will not allow you to enter multiple receipts per 24 hour day even if the receipts are originally from different dates of purchase.

First off, I like the app because it rewards my loyalty with a free combo meal. There's nothing better than free food. Who doesn't love potato oles dunked in hot spicy nacho cheese and a crunchy chicken burrito? It's a good trade off if you eat here often enough.
My qualms with the app is the barcode scanner occasionally goes on the fritz. I've updated the app more than once and each time the scanner seems to quit working. For reference, I'm on iOS 11 and an iPhone 6.
I wish the app had a feature that recognized prices and gave you double punches for your purchases totaling over $20. If there is a minimum requirement of $5 to receive a punch, the company itself should reward its customers with multiple punches when your feeding the whole family.
Lastly, I wish the coupons and deals didn't correspond to the launch of new products, but rather my purchasing habits. Why offer me a $1 off a steak burrito when all I ever purchase is kids meals and a crunchy chicken combo. The same goes with deserts. Why offer me a free sugar covered potato ole when all I purchase are Churros; they're fab by the way!
So my closing suggestion to you is, offer me a free churro with the purchase of a combo or kids meal. I'm 2x more likely to eat at your establishment in doing so.

Downloaded the app and attempted to place a delivery order. App said my order was scheduled for delivery at 12:15pm, 45 minutes from when I placed the order. No problem. At 12:30pm, order status still just said “scheduled”. Was able to cancel my order and was not charged, but this is a total fail. If you do not have delivery drivers available in my area or there is some other issue delivering the order on time, then the app should tell me such so I can move on with my life, not sit here in limbo wondering where my delicious tacos are!

***UPDATE***

This app just doesn’t even work. Besides the aforementioned fail above, I attempted to place an order for pickup, drove to the store and they never received my order. Looked at the app and it says order placed. Canceled that order and tried again while standing in the store, app says order placed and confirmed, but the order never arrives on their display and my card is never charged. Double checked payment information (app should alert user if there are payment issues!) to verify it was correct. Basically, this app is useless.
