Talking Timer is a timer app you can both see AND HEAR. It was initially developed for life drawing, when you want to know how long a pose or session will last while focused on your work. Of course, it may also be used in other applications where you want to know how much time is left without having to look at your device, such as fitness routines, cooking, or even coloring your hair!

Plus it's completely free. No adverts, no subscription, just free.
I wrote it because I use it myself - and now you can too! :-)

In version 2.1 you can opt for the timer to be started via a remote media/shutter button, or the device volume control. Makes it easier to repeat the same timer.

Simple and very useful

Perfect for my usage as a play clock game timer. No tracking also which is a plus for me. Clive is very helpful.
