The main task screen has been simplified so your full active task list is now visible right away in one place. You no longer need to open a separate screen just to browse your tasks. Sort and category filters are now easier to access directly from the main task view, making it faster to organize and find tasks without extra steps. The top overview section remains for quick access and a cleaner layout, while keeping the experience focused on your actual tasks. Advanced management tools like reordering tasks, hiding sections, and editing categories are still available through Edit mode, keeping powerful controls available without cluttering the main experience. The completed section remains at the bottom with improved spacing and separation to keep the interface feeling clean and organized.

Refined the task creation experience with a new inline composer. Tap “+” to type directly within the list and save instantly, while the info button on the right still provides access to the full editor. Redesigned task rows to be more compact and streamlined. The layout is lighter and easier to scan, while keeping key controls like flagging and options aligned on the right. Adjusted task defaults so due times are now off by default. Time is only added when explicitly enabled, across both quick add and full edit flows. Improved snooze reliability. Snoozed tasks now persist through app restarts and reminder refreshes, and remain active until the task is completed, deleted, or edited. The snooze chain has also been extended to continue running without stopping prematurely. Eliminated visual interruptions during updates. Task completion, edits, and deletions now refresh silently without triggering loading states, and completion animations have been tightened for a faster, smoother feel. Made the overall interface more compact. Task rows use smaller text and spacing, the preview container is tighter, and the completed section has been reduced to a shorter, cleaner strip. Introduced a redesigned Quick Capture area. This section now uses a distinct visual style with a subtle gradient, glass-like input tray, and a dedicated save action to make adding tasks feel more intentional. Added a version update prompt. On launch, the app checks for a newer version and shows a one-time alert. Choosing “OK” opens the update page, while “Later” dismisses the prompt until a newer version becomes available.
