TaskMD is a Markdown task editor for folders you choose in the Files app. Pick a folder of .md files, then add, complete, edit, and delete tasks without leaving the original documents.
Keep your todos as plain Markdown:
• Checkbox tasks: - [ ] and - [x]
• Date sections such as 0912, with newest days on top
• Quote lines become notes in the task view
• Complete adds a finish timestamp; checkbox toggle does not
• Optional time stamp when adding tasks (Settings)
• Source tab: edit raw Markdown (Premium)
• Batch convert/delete and file tab management (Premium)
Free: list editing, completion timestamps, timed adds, swipe to delete, checkbox toggle.
Premium is a one-time $1.99 unlock — restore anytime on a new device.
Files stay on your device or in the cloud storage account you use with Files. TaskMD does not upload your notes to its own servers and does not require an account.
Use it for work logs, daily diaries, and GTD-style lists that you already keep as Markdown.
