Terrible Customer Service

For a company that provides a customer service tool, they provide horrible customer service themselves. I recently contacted them to make a simple change to our account, but it ended up taking three weeks and a dozen emails and chat sessions. Their chat agents seem to be powerless to do anything, and emails to tech support are ignored. Will be looking for a different chat provider because I'm not about to spend hundreds of dollars per month for zero support when we need it.

I tried intercom, olark and a few others Tawk is the best. I wish they had XMPP support though.

Works fine except there's no audio notification when chat is requested. You have to make sure it's open and on top of all windows, then sit and stare at it to make sure you don't miss connections. It's been this way for months despite the fact that they know about it. Alternative is to log in at the website.

Notifications - Allow Notifications After allowing the notifications in your device, open the tawk.to app and customize the “Notifications & sounds” settings. Select the You icon in the lower right of the screen > App Settings > Notifications & sounds.
