It’s okay. Needs improvement
The app works fairly well. Sometimes I get the error message saying my accounts aren’t loading but it doesnt happen often. The main issue I have is with the online check deposit. Before the update I was able to deposit my checks perfectly fine with just taking the two pictures & endorsement but now you have to write “for mobile deposit only” on the back of the check with your signature and it never works!! It’s very frustrating which ends up with me having to go to the bank to deposit my check which is something I try to avoid at all costs. Please fix this issue!
Not very professional
What banking application does not make use of a decimal point?? When you pay a bill the item is removed from your scheduled bill pay but debited from your account days later and no way to know when, making it impossible to reconcile what your account balance is without being a detective. The only reason we remain members is for the low rates, of which we are finding competition for these days. I really hope there are plans to improve the usability of this app.
Improvement, but falls short
Update. It’s been another year and the app lags far behind other banking apps. No updates. The mobile deposit section is a joke. I’m forced to say the picture is good over and over just to be asked again. It’s got other glitches too. Clean it up.
TFCU has never much strength in electronic banking. Not being able to transfer credentials is the first sign this was not going to be very polished, but compared to the last set of fiasco Apps there have been improvements made. There have been times the entire system was down for extended periods. There is no acceptable excuse for that.
As far as the mobile deposit is concerned, why am I asked every time if the picture is good when I’ve already approved it?
Now the App is turning off Touch ID.
The worst part is tech support is terrible. Half the time they are unfamiliar with the inner workings of the App and website. The App used to send text message confirmation for App deposits. No one can tell me why this has stopped except that it never worked that way. That’s entirely untrue but there’s no point in arguing with people that don’t use the product.
