Telly - The Smartest TV 4+

I signed up and went through the free tv process of answering all the marketing stuff. Did that for the advertised expectation of getting this so-called free tv. I signed up during what I believe was the first few days Telly TV started advertising to customers All the way back in May 2023. I’ve opened a support to get asking for a status, because I started seeing on various websites that quite a few people out there already got their TV, and even stating a date much later than mine when they signed up for a Telly TV. Also got an email saying that they began shipping the TVs. Even when I asked Support about that, I was given the runaround saying I’ve done everything that I can do, I just need to wait for the TV. unbelievable!

I haven’t gotten past the set up so, I will be back. It took a year of waiting. Anyone that is reading these reviews should understand that it takes a long time to get it. My step son got one over a year ago. We live in different homes, he’s 23. He invited me, I signed up and waited. It showed up on my porch Saturday but, I’ve been too busy to set it up. It’s downloading updates right now. This thing is huge and is super loud! I’m going to love listening to music off of it for sure. One thing though, when I was putting on the leg stands, something inside the tv made a sound and I’m thinking something broke cause, when I lifted it up, I could hear it rattling but, the tv is working great so far. I’ll check back in after I’ve used it a bit.

I’m an Emmy-winning video editor used to high-quality video playback…and Telly didn’t disappoint. I’m not claiming it’s the same as a $1000 OLED but it’s pretty amazing and comparable to most sets on the market.

But what I can’t get over are the additional features this 55” solidly-built wonder has. Deep bass from the integrated (and attractive) sound bar permeates the room with resonant deep-seated sonics, the multi-colored backlight makes long-term binging a pleasure free from eye strain. Multiple inputs and outputs give ultimate flexibility and wonderful color rendition adds clarity…and all for no cost to you. In a world where we’re being fleeced by companies left and right, Telly is too good to be true—-but it is!
