Termex 3.0 adds native SFTP file transfer while keeping the terminal-first workflow intact. File transfer from the terminal - Upload files from the terminal chrome with the new transfer button. - Download remote files by path without leaving the session. - Transfers are scoped per server and continue even if the terminal tab is closed. - Active and recent transfers are visible from the toolbar and Transfers sheet. Current folder detection - Termex reads OSC 7 current-directory updates from your remote shell. - Uploads can land in the directory where your terminal is currently open. - If the shell has not reported a directory yet, Termex falls back to the SFTP home directory and shows that clearly. - A built-in shell integration installer can add the OSC 7 snippet to zsh, bash, or fish. Integrity and safety - Uploads use temporary remote files and finalize only after the write completes. - SHA-256 verification checks transferred bytes against the remote server when sha256sum or shasum is available. - Integrity mismatch is reported as a failed transfer. - Existing files trigger an overwrite, rename, or cancel choice, with "apply to all" for the current batch. - Large uploads warn before starting, and resumable progress is kept for network drops or app pauses. SFTP core - New SFTP v3 protocol support built on the existing SSH transport. - No new SSH dependency. - Known-host enforcement remains the same as terminal connections. - Key, password, jump-host, and agent-forwarding connection paths are preserved. Terminal and reliability - tmux resume behavior remains intact. - Local secrets stay in Keychain-backed storage. - First-connection host-key trust prompts now match the app design more closely. - iOS 26 Liquid Glass styling has been applied across terminal chrome, transfer controls, status badges, cards, and pinned actions. - Terminal toolbar actions now keep upload, download, port-forward, search, and session options together at the top of the session. - The terminal keyboard accessory keeps the keyboard-dismiss action fixed while extra keys scroll and fade underneath without stray tap targets. - Demo mode, diagnostics, route restore, and app wipe behavior stay compatible with the v3 refactor.
