TessTrack works with Tesla vehicles through your own Tessie account (Tessie subscription required). TessTrack gives EV drivers a clear picture of what it really costs to drive electric, and how those costs compare with driving gas-powered vehicles. Using your Tessie account data, TessTrack tracks your actual driving history, mileage, efficiency, and charging costs over time. Track up to five vehicles and compare their real-world operating costs against five ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles. FIVE ICE VEHICLES See how your actual driving costs compare with familiar gas-powered alternatives. TessTrack uses your real mileage and charging costs along with regional fuel-price data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) to estimate what driving those same miles would have cost in comparable ICE vehicles. Compare against vehicles from several categories, including economy, midsize, SUV, and truck. SEE YOUR SAVINGS Go beyond estimates based on typical drivers. TessTrack uses your own driving data to show the difference between what you've actually spent driving and what those same miles could have cost in comparable gas vehicles. Review costs and savings over different periods and see how they add up over time. EXPLORE YOUR DRIVING HISTORY View your travels by date on an interactive map and explore where you've driven and how far you've traveled. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TessTrack requires an active Tessie account and subscription to access your vehicle data. ICE cost comparisons use regional fuel-price data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). EIA API access is free, but you'll need to obtain your own free EIA API key. Your Tessie and EIA API keys are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. * Charging stops now show on the map. On the GPS Routes screen, every charging session appears as a red dot where it actually happened. Tap a dot to see that session's details: energy added, battery level before and after, how long it took, and cost. * Repeated charges are grouped. Charges at the same spot (like home) collapse into a single dot with a number badge, so frequent locations don't clutter the map. Tapping shows every session there with a running total. * More complete history. The map now shows the full 90 days of charging, not just the most recent handful of sessions. * "Since last charge" efficiency is fixed - it was always blank. When there aren't enough miles since the last charge for the number to mean anything, it shows "less than 5 mi" instead; tap it to see the figure anyway. * Support TessTrack. The gear menu's new "Support TessTrack" option now offers a chance to leave a one-time tip (a small In-App Purchase, "Buy Me a Soda" through "Make It Top Shelf"). TessTrack stays free for everyone and nothing is gated behind it.
