2. Enabled drag-and-drop of image file onto the app window for text extraction.
3. Added a more menu in scan history for quick sharing, copying, or deleting extracted texts.
4. Improved selection guidance with a help button featuring a GIF tutorial for selecting text in image.
5. Fixed PDF text extraction to maintain the correct page order.
6. Made several UI improvements for a better user experience.

Really Helps me with Grad school

This app is really helpful for transferring text in my textbook to a word document.
The reason I didn’t give 5 starts is because it can be a little finicky with words near the spine of the book. Where the page curls towards the spine- the app seems to add or miss text near the inside edges. This can take some time to go through and correct, but still a very useful app.

Does more than I expected, even using the free version

This app works well, and its ability to work with so many languages and to interface almost seamlessly with my iPad’s translation function has come in very handy (especially this week when a friend brought me chocolate bars from an international trip with ingredient labels in multiple languages I can’t read). I can live with the free version’s requirement to watch an ad to do additional scans after a few uninterrupted scans in a single day. I’ve only hit that limit on rare occasions, and the ads are tolerable so far when that happens. I used to develop and test software for many years. I will always appreciate a simple and reliable app with a reasonably intuitive interface that does a few key things well.

Hands down best scanning app

I’ve downloaded prob a dozen or so different text scanner apps n this one is THE best one out there 100%. Doesn’t BOMBARD you w RELENTLESS ADs like many (MOST) of the other scanner apps. Some of them are absolutely ridiculous, can’t even use it there’s so many ads but not this app! SO RELIEVED finally found this one and was able to actually USE IT (what a concept!) and get my work done. Easy to use, intuitive layout. Does what it claims n does it well. ONLY text scan app worth having. I would know! ( Literally Downloaded EVERY single free text scanner app available, tried EVERY single one of them. The rest are COMPLETE n utter GARBAGE. You’re WELCOME for saving you all the time n hassle I went through finding this gem of an app! )
