ThatCat is a community-powered map app for sharing cat sightings. Whether you've spotted a stray or lost your beloved pet, you can exchange real-time information with people nearby.
SPOT CATS ON THE MAP
See a cat? Snap a photo and drop a pin. Add tags for behavior, health, and appearance — choose from 12 coat patterns and 11 descriptive tags. Browse nearby sightings at a glance.
HELP FIND MISSING CATS
If your cat goes missing, post an alert with their name, features, and last known location. The community becomes your search party. Use dedicated filters to find missing cat posts, and mark as "Found" when they're safely home.
PRIVACY YOU CAN TRUST
Photos are automatically background-blurred by AI, keeping only the cat in focus. Sighting locations are intentionally offset on the map, so exact spots are never revealed.
CONNECT WITH STAMPS
React with five simple stamps: "Cute," "Saw it too!," "Fed," "Needs help," and "Thanks." Set your nickname and profile icon to make it personal.
SMART CAT MATCHING
Based on coat patterns, the app automatically suggests similar cats spotted nearby — helping you connect the dots.
