The Catholic Rosary 4+

I’ve been using this rosary app for a while now, and I must say it’s excellent in many ways. The user interface is simple and intuitive, making it easy to follow along with my prayers.

However, there’s one small improvement that could make this app even better. It’s time for an update to include the updated version of the Apostles’ Creed. The app currently uses the traditional version, but many people now use the updated Nicene Creed in their prayers.

Once that update is in place, I’d happily give this app a solid 5-star rating. It’s a valuable tool for anyone looking to deepen their prayer life through the rosary. Thank you for providing such a wonderful resource! 🙏

Beautifully made app! Makes it very simple and easy to pray the Rosary. It works just as it is supposed to...you open the app, click what day it is, and begin reading down the page while using your Rosary. If you don’t know how to use the Rosary, there is a button titled “How to pray?” directly after the days of the week.

When using this app, there are two problems at the end of your prayer session: 1) the “Hail Holy Queen” is written 3 times in a row. Be sure to watch for the first time it says “Amen” so that you know when to stop praying. 2) the days do not end with the sign of the cross, so just remember to end with it as it says on the how to pray diagram.

Ads are not really a problem like people are saying. They pop up when you begin a prayer and sometimes when you open the app, but aren’t very long or interrupting to prayer time. Ads are a necessary component to most free apps, so just learn to accept a few here and there on any apps you don’t pay for.

I like that this app in particular has the descriptions of the holy mysteries. Most of the other apps I’ve tried don’t go beyond the name of the mysteries. I’m new to praying the rosary and it’s helpful for me to have those descriptions to aid in my contemplation.

My only gripe is that the ad at the beginning is really annoying, especially when you’re preparing yourself for a time of prayer. I have no problem paying a few bucks to support the developer if it means getting rid of the ads, but I can’t find that as an option anywhere.
