The User Experience Could Be Improved
Alhamdullilah the audio production is wonderful. However, the interface is more like a “normal” audiobook that allows you to skip to chapters. For the longer suwar this isn’t especially helpful. The ability to navigate to specific ayat, pages or themes in line with the physical book or the Clear Quran app would be helpful. At least showing the ayat when scrubbing along the timeline would help people find places in the surah.

A novel experience of the Qur’an
The production quality of this dramatized reading of the Qur’an’s translation is a masterpiece. There are transitions with multiple voice actors when the Qur’an is quoting someone and section headings (not a part of the text) are recited to ease the transition into new topics or shifts in perspective within each chapter. Much work was put into polishing this audio rendition of the Qur’an’s translation and it allows for non-Arabic speakers to understand some semblance of what it means to hear and understand the Qur’an through oral transmission. There is a subscription required for access to all changes, but Fatihah, Kahf, Yasin, Mulk, Ikhlas, Falaq, and Nas are available for free. A one month subscription is the price of a cup of coffee so it’s definitely worth subscribing to listen to the Qur’an recited throughout the month of Ramadan!
Audio is great but still could use a few updates
So to start this is amazing!!! Great and easy to listen to and understand. I just wish it had additional features , like separating the audio by verses to where the audio can be set to stop and/or play up to specific verses, and even save that as a playlist, and show the English translation as the audio is being played .
I try to read a juz a day and my goal is to understand the Quran. I want to follow my Arabic reading with the translation/audio book. Inshallah , maybe next app update there will additional features to look forward to.
