The Dividend Tracker 4+

This app is a must have for any dividend investor, it’s loaded with all the information you need to make an informed decision on stocks you should add to your portfolio. Additionally, it offers all of the stats you’d like to track the progress/success of your investments. Highly recommend you get this app, I do own the premium membership so that does unlock all of the features of the app, worth every penny.

I prefer the web-based version much more than this iPhone app. I added my first portfolio and added a few holdings, and now I can’t figure out how to add more holdings. I went to the web app on the iPad Pro and finished the job, there is an “+Add Holding” button clearly visible. This app should have been designed for iPads first, then redesigned for the tiny iPhone screen.

My other opinion, is the Premium subscription is too high for someone just wanting to add a second portfolio or have a bit more info. All the other data, fundamentals, analysis provided in the Premium subscription I get on my other portfolio/research apps. I want a decent dividend tracker, that’s all.

Perhaps a tiered Premium structure. I don’t mind paying for features I want, but won’t pay for stuff I already pay for elsewhere or can easily get for free.

I’ll just stick with the web-app version for adding/editing stocks until the developer either builds an iPad version or better yet takes this one universal.

I upgraded to the premium version of this app and a few days later decided I didn’t want to get that deep into dividend investing so the premium features didn’t really matter as much. I emailed customer service and had my money back into my account the next day! Very impressive! Great job! I will still use the free version just to get a sense of my annual dividend income.
