This automatic audio-guide is for the Icelandic World War II Museum in Reydarfjordur, Iceland. It tells the history of the Second World War in Iceland. This is a unique museum, the only one of its kind in Iceland. This audio guide app will lead you around the museum with automatic activation of the audio guide.
You can expect striking narratives about the war years, narratives that are as varied as they are many and contradictory. The museum tells stories about construction, development and economic progress and not only of the war’s progress, but also into the daily lives of the locals. It is therefore safe to say that you can expect an interesting journey through time and space in the narratives through this combination of museum and app.

Íslenska stríðsárasafnið er á Reyðarfirði og segir sögu seinni heimstyrjaldarinnar á Íslandi. Safnið er einstakt og er eina sinnar tegundar á landinu. Hljóðleiðsagnir og myndir í smáforritinu leiða þig áfram í gegnum safnið. Þú átt því í vændum áhrifaríkar frásagnir um stríðsárin, frásagnir sem eru jafn margar og þær eru mismunandi og mótsagnakenndar. Safnið segir sögur af uppbyggingu, þróun og efnahagslegri uppsveiflu.
