The Last Dream 12+

💎WOW.

“The Last Dream” is a jewel of a game. It’s not something you want to rush through, not a game for “gamers.” While there are similarities to some popular games (The MysteryHaunted Hollow 1&2, Short Tale, the classic Humongous Games, Her Story), the Last Dream is a fascinating “trip” through one man’s surreality.

Using a daring combination of mixed media throughout (photos, video, digital, animation, etc.), the game intrigues with more venues than one can imagine. The puzzles are common sensical-yet-challenging and not at all ostentatious. I encountered no bugs nor glitches in this rather detailed game, and though the file is about 830MB, my iPhone7+ did not overheat. The game is worth every penny though its approach is, I think, quite unique. Quite admirable‼️

(A really cute idea is the addition of an especially well-conceptualized “friend” to offer help when needed. Adorable.🙂)

Very well thought out

High quality game for the 2D adventure genre. I enjoyed the diversity of object puzzles and stand alone logic puzzles. The plot is not very deep and the transitions in the game did not really have much meaning but I did not mind. I just liked to be able to get my mind off of things and this was perfect. And the randomness actually made sense in that this game is kind of a dream sequence which, well, is not really coherent anyway.

Again, very creative, great art, and long game play.

Excellent game

I play a lot of these games. I love this one. Puzzles are challenging without making you feel like an idiot. I really like how it changes from old fashion film to animation. Only thing I would change was to make the wife into the sister so the character in you play in the story could be either sex.
