I used this confirmation platform via TripAdvisor for a long time. I was excited to see this app. However, I just couldn’t get it to confirm my table. I tried logging out and back in again, no success. I like the option of seeing the whole calendar on the second page. Please fix. I can’t wait to use your app
Two bad experiences in one week
If it would work well then the fork app is a great concept but I would most certainly not rely on it (I personally already deleted it). I reserved a restaurant through it and when I arrived at the time my reservation was set in the app, the kitchen and restaurant was closed. The owners apologized and said they’ve been having constant trouble with the app and will discontinue their partnership asap. Second bad experience was a restaurant that you need months of anticipation to reserve in and I did it via the fork. The day of my reservation, without notification and without me clicking a thing, it appeared to be “cancelled”. I couldn’t reserve again since there was no space and no explanation or response to my complaints were received. Furthermore, their offer of restaurants listed is definitely not the best in any city I’ve used it in. Don’t use this app, don’ trust this app.
The app and the website needs a huge improvement
Little things. Suppose I want a Paella place on Madrid. Finding it on the app or the website is very hard. On the site, if you choose a city Madrid and then enter Paella in the type of cuisine you get places in Paris and Milan! On the app, there’s just no way to filter on a somewhat vague a thing like this.
Then, for most restaurants you don’t see the full menu. So, if you see an offer and you click for more details you get to see barely anything to decide.
