PLEASE NOTE: We now offer Basic and Pro subscription options to help manage your inventory, projects, and color palettes. Our Basic version is completely free, while our Threadster Pro subscription unlocks additional areas and features.
Threadster also offers a 7-day free trial for new users. The free trial automatically converts to a 1-month Pro subscription, but this can be easily changed before the trial runs out if you decide that you’d prefer the 6 month or 12 month plan. You can find a full list of all the features below!

I’ve absolutely been loving this app so far! Considering there are over 500+ DMC floss and countless other brands and specialty threads, it’s great being able to track everything I own! There’s been countless times I’ve lost track of my inventory during projects and accidentally bought more or less than I needed to, so I know this app will save me time and energy. It’s also great being able to see similar thread colors when you’re tracking, and having the pictures of the threads is also convenient to have. The Add Custom Thread option is also SO useful, especially when you can add the exact pictures of the thread color into the app itself. Knowing that the creators of this app are also fellow artists, I know they’ll have the best interest for their app! They know what would be missing since they experience our exact issues, so I’m looking forward to the updates to come!

I absolutely love love looove this app. There’s so many features that I just love at launch that all the other thread trackers lack. Searching for specific threads is a breeze especially with the clear button. Being able to edit multiple threads at once is an absolute marvel. The ability to see photos of the threads to verify color matching is insane. Being able to mark certain colors as being used in a project. BEING ABLE TO ADD YOUR OWN CUSTOM THREADS!!! This one takes the cake!I can’t get over how amazing it is to be able to add and edit my entire inventory in an instant and adding custom hand dyed threads I’ve casually been collecting. Especially being able to add a photo reference as some of the ones I have shift into very different colors. This will make it easier to pick out colors without needing to take out all my thread boxes.

Perfect for Floss Tracking

I just inventoried my DMC floss collection and I’m obsessed with this app! It is super easy to use, and has a great tutorial to help get you started. I’m currently using the free version, and it’s been so helpful to visually see what floss I have, what I still need to add to the collection, and true color charting with pictures of the actual floss. The paid features look incredible for those with multiple projects on their hands - especially those who embroider as a part time or full time job. I had zero problems with any glitches as I moved around in the app which is a huge plus! I can’t wait to explore the app more!

I’ve been able to replace several tools I use with this app. The mass update feature makes adding initial inventory so easy. The app also includes a similar colors feature and has the DMC inventory with color cards extremely similar to the actual floss colors. I have found myself using the app to help select color palettes as well. I also plan to add my non-DMC inventory via the custom feature and can’t wait to try it out
