ABOUT TIC TOC TIME
Learning to read a clock face is not an intuitive process for children. Tic Toc Time for iPad and iPhone is the world’s first time-telling app that teaches children aged 5-8 how to read a clock face using elements that they’re already deeply familiar with: sun, shadow, night and day.
EXPERT-CRAFTED
Once the foundation is laid, children are taught how to read a clock face and tell time via a simple, easy and fun learning path that was crafted in conjunction with renowned Swiss astrophysicist Slim Hamdani.
MEETS ACADEMIC STANDARDS
Tic Toc Time meets the Common Core State Standards for mathematics, including standards for telling time in grades 1, 2, and 3. And because it’s so much fun, children won’t even realize that they’re learning!
CREATE MULTIPLE PROFILES
Tic Toc Time lets you create up to 40 unique profiles for all of the young learners in your life. It’s ideal for school use, home use, while in transit/traveling, or anywhere else!

REVIEWS
"But still, each lesson is important in learning and understanding time. This is by far the most comprehensive time-telling app on the market."
- Smart Apps For Kids
"Tic Toc Time is more than just an app that lets juniors learn about the time of day. It's a discovery game that lets you discover what makes our day it is. It's one of the best science-themed apps for younger juniors on the App Store. I'd highly recommend it for juniors who are learning how to tell the time."

Tic Toc Time: Break down the day to learn how to tell time is a very unique, innovative and engaging app designed to teach the concept of time. It goes into much, much greater detail than any other time apps which I have seen! The graphics are pleasing and each step along the way is presented in easy to comprehend chunks. Children (and adults) will love holding their device to see which direction they are facing! Children will have fun learning all about time. Everything about the app is perfect, with the exception of the voice of one beaver, who speaks with a very overt lisp. While some may see it as cute, as a speech therapist, my job is to remediate speech errors! He is welcome to come to my room for speech therapy!

Tic Toc Time: Break down the day to learn how to tell time is a very comprehensive app on learning about time and space. It gives purpose and meaning to why we use a clock by first teaching about what it means to experience night or day. Through using the cardinal directions and illustrating the earth's rotation, it defines how the day is divided by the sun's placement in the sky, i.e. we get up when the sun is in the east - "That's Morning"....we have lunch when the sun is at its highest in the south - "That's Noon"...and go to sleep...when it disappears in the west and travels on north..."That's Night" and then back to the east to start a new day. It then expands on this to teach about how shadows can give us a clue as to where we are in the day before going on to playing with a clock. I like how it begins with moving with the compass, and teaches about time in terms of daily activities and routines as a circular sequence of events that goes around and begins again each day. As one gains understanding and competency in these areas, you are awarded items for a garden. Playing in the garden is also tied into the rhythm of time and space, which is an absolutely delightful sneaky treat to reinforcing the material. However, you must first sign up through the parental section on the dashboard to either facebook or email with the developer to have access to the garden. I wished this was explained more in the parent's section, but I might have missed it in my eagerness to play the game. I would highly recommend this app for just telling kids the truth about how time helps ground and predict what is most likely to happen. There are no IAPs, but there are links to other apps and social media under a secured button. Well done Seven Academy!
