Meet Timeout Tim Timeout has a whole new look, and a new face to go with it. • Timeout Tim: your hourglass sidekick. He locks your apps when you hit your limit, quizzes you to get back in, and cheers you on when you do. • Streaks that stick: your streak now lives with your account, so it survives a reinstall and follows you to a new phone. • Time-outs: every 7 days in a row earns you a time-out. Miss a day and Tim spends one to keep your streak alive. • New top bar: your streak, mastered cards and minutes learned today, on every screen. • A brighter, chunkier design: bigger buttons, rounder cards and a lot more colour, top to bottom. • Faster, friendlier flashcards: clearer results and a proper celebration when you extend your streak. Answer, move straight on, and see everything at the end — grading now happens in the background. • New results screen. Tap any card to see what you wrote next to the right answer. • Timeout stays on. It arms itself when you open the app, so there's no button to remember before you start scrolling. • Ranks. Climb from Newbie to Elite. Longer answers on questions you get right are worth more. • Already have an account? Signing in now takes you straight back in instead of through setup again. • Setup has a back button, so you can fix an earlier answer — and writing your first flashcard is optional now. • Deleting a deck deletes its flashcards too. Fixes • Changing which apps are watched, or your time limit, now takes effect straight away instead of at your next session. • Your time limit now saves to your account. • Your apps could stay locked if a subscription lapsed. They now unlock. • Home sometimes said Timeout was off while it was actually running. • "Screen Time access needed" appeared even when access was granted. • Deleted flashcards could come back after signing in again.

What's New Flashcards can now include a photo. Instant right/wrong feedback while you study. Smarter retries: only your misses (and a few new cards) come back, never what you already got right.
