Minimalistic, functional, beautiful.

A small and easy to use timer app that displays the timer's progress in an intuitive and minimalistic way and which can be used as an interval timer.

– Pause & Resume
– Switch between showing remaining time, percentage of elapsed time or just the progress bar
– Optional repeat mode
– Optional notification sound

What’s New

Version 1.5

– iPad support!
– New UI for the options + new sound option
– Rewritten audio player: now independent of mute switch and more synchronous (especially with Bluetooth/AirPlay devices with long latency)
– Removed cumulative error in repeat mode: every repetition is now exactly a whole multiple of the interval away from the start time
– Remaining time is shown rounded up to the next whole second again (instead of rounded down)

Love the full screen progress bar

As the title says, this timer’s best quality is seeing the time literally pass by. If there were any nice bells and whistles I’d like to add would be some customization settings such as changing colors or the look of the timer. Also maybe adding a different way of setting up the time like scrolling rather than the arrows. Other than that, thank you for this!

Good Simple Timer, with Limits

Very simple visual timer, which is good.
But... only 1 color, a distracting countdown text display, and no parental controls. Would be excellent if it had a color chooser, an option for no text, and some kid-proof parental controls.

Also, the elimination of the 00: text for irrelevant time intervals would be cleaner and more minimalistic (e.g. a 45 second time can just say “45” it doesn’t need to say “00:00:45”).

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it! Sorry for the late reply.
Version 1.4 and 1.5 addressed the no-text option and unnecessary zero-components (which you were absolutely right about), as well as great iPad support and much better audio handling!
An option for multiple colors sound like a great idea, I might consider this for a future update.
As for your parental controls request, I think what you are looking for is iOS's built-in "Guided Access" functionality (Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access) which will allow you to switch into a passcode protected "kid-proof" mode with e.g. disabled touch controls and other options. With this, and in combination with my app, you can setup a timer that a kid can't manipulate without knowing the specified passcode.

If you haven't already, please give the new version a try! And if you do appreciate the new changes, I'd be happy if you adjusted your review :)
