Shopping made easy

Easy to use and secure. The apps provides good tracking informations for your orders. Transaction disputes were handled promptly. Refund was almost instant as well. Never have any issues so far.

My feedbacks:
1. Clean up the junk sellers
2. The search algorithm which automatically hides categories for products which have low listings is counter intuitive. Let users select the category as desired.

Unusable

While tokopedia is probably the largest online marketplace in Indonesia, there's a lot of room to improve. Today, my customer just made a mistake, buying for one day delivery when in fact, it is a preorder item. When there's no preorder button for the app, it makes the app useless. Instead just make it web only version or fix the problem. If the app doesn't have the same feature as the web, why should I download the app?

Also, no buyer protection. Bought something for a gift. Came in a damage packaging. The glue came undone and it’s supposed to be a branded item. Talked to the seller which didn’t resolve anything but instead blaming it on the courier when in truth, the packaging just looks cheap and probably not authentic. Even implied I was complaining because I wanted her to give me a discount for a damage item that was entirely not my fault. Talked to tokopedia staff. Unfruitful. Said they cannot do anything. Useless even trying to contact them.

Layout isn’t exactly user friendly too. Too clutter and confusing.

My experience using the latest version of this app is really annoying. Sometimes it shows discounts, but when you want to purchase the discounts cann’t be use or less of what has been shown. They claimed because there was no more quota, silly right in the age of AI, cann’t show which quota was still available which one was not. Second is the use of credit card, different issuers have different promotions and different installment periods, now you must register ur card, they would charge you IDR10,000,- to verify, the part that you must register ur credit card is stupid, because when other issuers have better promotions and you want to change with other credit card then you have to register again and therefore incurs another verification charge of IDR10,000,- Making the process of purchasing longer and annoying!
