Won’t show as a AU in Logic X
Skully2015
Just want to let you guys know that there is NO component (AU) showing in the Components folder after the update and after reinstalling the software. I tried looking in Application Support under both Logic and GarageBand, AND in both the hard drive and home folders to see if it was there and the AU (component) is nonexistent in either. What is the component titled? If I knew I could do a search and at least see if it’s installed in another location. Anyway.. I really hope to see this software as a AU.. It was actually the first thing I thought when I used it! :) :) I also wanted to add this product has HUGE potential as an AU. Not only can you find certain tones your looking to use in your OWN songs… it’s also a great tool to reamp existing tracks! You guys have a $$$ maker here imho. Hope ya can resolve the issue soon… I am DYING to try this in a existing project I’m currently working on. Anyway.. Good luck! and I promise to give a full review when this issue is resolved. Peace!
Great as a stand-alone app but no luck in Logic Pro X
OmNePlayer
I have a lot of fun hooking up my guitar through an Apogee Jam and running the stand-alone app. Just going through all the sound options is great. Many of my favorites sounds are included. But I really wanted to use it as a plugin for Logic Pro X (v10.4.1). I’ve tried several fixes including re-install but no luck. In Logic Pro X I can go to the plugin manager and find the correct plugin - even run the “verrification” check and everything looks fine. But when I create a new audio track and then try to select Tonebridge as an audio effect I always get the “plugin missing” error message. If you have a fix for this problem I would love to hear about it. That would get this free app five stars for sure from me!Update:Ultimate Guitar responded to my first review very quickly and I thank them for that. They sent me to a link on their FAQ pages that described a fix for my problem. Well, I no longer get the “red exclamation point” error in Logic about a missing plugin. It seems to be present and I get all the supplementary effect windows and all. But there is no effect of any setting on the resulting tone of the audio output - nothing! It’s like the plugin wasn’t even in the audio output chain. I sent a message directly to the email address they provided on their website rather than come here and it’s been a week with no reply. I’ve pretty much given up hope that I will get this to work as advertised in Logic Pro X. Please - if anyone actually has it working let me know. By the way - this plugin doesn’t show up anywhere in Garageband so I can’t use it with that app either. Sorry Untimate Guitar.

Why is it that I can edit presets on iphone but not on mac
Drew112110
Hello, Im trying to use the preset editor, “workshop” i think it’s called on my mobile app… I’m trying to do the same thing in the mac app but there is no option that allows me to affect which stompboxes are in the chain, swap one amp/cab for another, etc… Is there a reason for this? I am a “pro” member on UG and like I say, it can easily be done from my phone, but since I’m not making presets for titled hit songs, but instead for my own sounds and recording work in a home studio, these mobile presets don’t show up on the desktop app…. its a great tool - would be great to have the chance to use it to it’s fullest potential
So GREAT from a professional guitar teacher!!

I can’t praise this app enough. I’ve had to go to 100% video lessons online, and wondered how I’d recreate the experience for students of hearing tone and sound nuances. I’m plugged my strat directly into my Scarlett 2i2 with a Blue Ball microphone. Tonebridge allows me to pull up the sound for each specific song, and the student hears me playing very close to the original sound of the recording. I’d be willing to pay (a very small fee) for additional plug in’s or for the ability to stack pedals (i.e. compressor and chorus, distortion and echo). I think consideration should also be given by the developers to keep band width to a minimum (if that’s even possible), since this is going out over Google classroom, Hangout, Zoom, etc.Great App!!!
In this version, we’ve fixed that annoying crash that appeared in some older macOS versions. Let us know if it works now!
