TopView Redeem 4+

Beware of this company! We were approached in the street to take this bus tour! We let the man know we had 4 hours and he assured us this was plenty of time to see many sites and hop on and off in a few places we mentioned! He assured us we would not wait more than 15 min at a stop. At the first stop to board the bus we waited for a long time. When the bus came only 4 people could get on - the line was 70+ people! After an hour, we realized this was not going to work for us! We found the man who sold us the tickets and asked for a refund, as it was clear we were not going to get in the bus. The man was kind but obviously gave us false information! He put a manager on his cell phone and he refused to refund us despite posting $180 cash and never using it. He offered for us to come to an office far away. However, now we had 90 min left in NYC and we have 2 small children. Customer service offered to let us use the tickets for 12 months - however, we live on the west coast! I asked for a refund but they refused! Basically scanned out of $180 at Christmas! If they do come around to offer us a refund I will update this review.

I know most of the reviews are bad but please hear me out on my experience. The man who advertised this to us was so nice and helped us buy our tickets. I will say that they were expensive but it shows you so much. Anyways, on the actual day of the bus ride everything went well and we were having a great time. Sometimes when the bus stops to pick up and drop people off it takes a while but you can relax and listen to the music while you wait because people are able to get on or off when they would like. The bus driver was very nice and told us where to get off for the statue of liberty. We ran into trouble getting to the boat to go see it because the bus had brought us too late but when we asked for help a man was very nice and let us go to the next boat. Everyone we met and talked to was extremely nice and accommodating. I’m sorry if you did not have the same experience but i just wanted there to be something positive so people won’t be so discouraged from doing this.

I would honestly select no stars if I could. I came to NYC as I do every December for the last 11 years with a group of 9 and we decided to do this tour bus. He quoted us $67 per person then gave us a discount because we’re a group for $47. Then he clearly started the ride would be an hour long tops. We stop every 5 feet for 10-40 minutes. Half way threw the tour the driver got off the bus, and peed behind a car that wasn’t even 10 feet away from the bus and was very visible. There is no bathrooms for the costumers on the bus and no time to go to the restrooms and get back on. One woman had to resort to peeing on the floor because she couldn’t hold it in anymore. The whole ‘ guide ‘ part is just putting head phones in and listening to Siri say 3 words every 10 miles. Everyone on my bus has had the same complaints and think it’s horrible. Many other riders complained to the driver and he was disrespectful and rude and told us all to just go to customer service and it’s not his problem.
