Great App for those with clutter
This is a great app for those with lots of clutter but little time to de-clutter. Essentially, it gives you a “task” everyday that isn’t time consuming due to how it divides the tasks up into small sections. What I really like are the small tips that come with it, such as what to get rid of based on a specific timeline it hasn’t been used. I’d love more tips like this integrated in! Then you log how many items you got rid of and it adds them up for you.
Some suggestions: I’d love to be able to add in a task before I’ve finished them all, since there are some specific tasks that I don’t expect to be in there. I’d also like to know when I’m about to skip something for the third and last time and then also have the option to skip it again without it being deleted (some tasks can’t be done until I’ve completed other tasks). Lastly, I’d LOVE to be able to do more than one task a day, since some aren’t too difficult or long and I’d like to be more efficient!
Loved it while it worked.
I loved this app! I have a few ways I’d like to see it improved, though.
1. Let me do more than one task a day if I want.
2. More tasks. I got to the end of the list and could customize, and then it gave me a list of suggestions. If you have suggestions, put them in the rotation with the other tasks! If you need ideas, ask someone or do some research. There could easily be 365 tasks. Clearly, there are far fewer because I’ve used it for about 6 weeks and reached the end.
3. Let me skip/delete as many as I want to get to a task that applies. The reason I have the app is to make progress. I can’t do that if it says, ‘sorry, come Back tomorrow’ when I’m here now!!!
I tried to open it numerous times today and it just crashes. 😢
Old fashioned and not as customizable as I wanted
The way the app seems to work is that it gives you an area of the house to work in and you get rid of items from that area. Sounds great right? Well... some of the areas are super old fashioned and many of them don’t relate to millennial living (people under 37). They’re like “clean out your hutch/sideboard of old candlesticks”—what is this, 1870? You can skip around to different tasks but it doesn’t look like there is a “skip back” function and also you can only skip three per day—what if none of them are things you are trying to get rid of? Not very functional. I wanted something like an app that just let me catalogue my accomplishments in what I got rid of—not one that narrowed the possibilities to only three choices.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
