Break alarms at the kiosk • The store tablet now sounds an alarm before an employee's meal break is due, and shows who and when. • The tablet stays awake while break alarms are on, so an alarm is never missed on a locked screen. • A reminder appears on the clock screen when the volume is too low to hear an alarm. At the time clock • Employees can confirm or question a manager's change to their hours right at the clock. • Report a time issue at the clock — a forgotten break or a missed clock-out — and a manager reviews it. • Arizona stores: paid and unpaid breaks, with one question about the break at clock-out. For managers • Review breaks and clock-outs entered by employees, and decide reported time issues, on the iPad. • Fuel delivery records show the printed ticket beside the handwritten one, and disagreements between them can be settled and corrected. • Times on punch edits always follow the store's own clock. Also • The app shows its version on Settings and the clock screen, and picks up updates more reliably. • Clearer wording throughout TimeCard, and easier-to-read tables. Note: the alarm plays sound only on the store's shared tablet (a kiosk), while the app is open, and it needs no special permissions.
