Treasure helps you save money by making it fun to save and tracking your progress toward your goals. Here’s how it works. Every time you’re about to spend money but decide not to, enter the amount you saved into the app. For example, you get a $2 coffee instead of a $6 cappuccino: enter $4 into Treasure. You have a glass of water instead of your second $14 mojito: enter $14. You take the subway for $3 instead of a $15 cab: enter $12. Guess what — you just saved $30. Treasure shows you how your small decisions add up, and makes the money you saved feel real. There are a lot of apps out there that track the money you spend — Treasure is the only one designed to track the money you don’t spend. Taking control of your spending isn’t about cutting luxury out of your life. It’s about having more money for the things — including luxuries — that you truly care about. By helping you be more deliberate about your spending, you'll be able to reach your goals faster and have more of what you truly want. I’ve tried a lot of ways to try to stop spending money on the silly little things... this app is a pretty new and interesting way to try to see what you’re saving. It helps to go back and see what categories of things you’re saving the most on. And it just makes it a little more fun when you decide not to buy something and instead track it in the app.

I’m a firm believer in the power of “small wins” to help keep me motivated and, literally, more happy every day. Treasure is the perfect app for this - I love watching my balance grow over time. The app is super easy to use, and gives me the little jolt of satisfaction every time I save!

This is an interesting little app to try to encourage you to save money. Not sure if it works, but it’s pretty fun to watch the icons explode when you enter something in.
