The Treatspace mobile app aims to provide connectivity, collaboration and communication between healthcare providers through three main app features:
- CurbTalks
- Referrals
- TreatChat
- Connections
A CurbTalk is an informal consultation where one doctor asks another for quick advice on a patient’s case, typically without seeing the patient directly. In the Treatspace app, this feature allows doctors to easily connect with specialists to get instant advice, helping them make faster and more informed decisions.
This improves patient care by reducing delays and unnecessary referrals. If further action is needed, the doctor can seamlessly transition the consultation into a referral. From the sender’s point of view, their patient’s care is being addressed quickly and efficiently. From the receiver’s point of view, they make connections with the sender and get more patients in through their doors, which translates to practice growth. TreatChat supports this by enabling secure messaging for ongoing communication between providers, both internally within their own practice and outside with their referring partner practices in the area.

- CurbTalks (Instant Provider-to-Provider Consultations) - Users (doctors) can ask informal consults with other doctors and specialists in the Treatspace network. Typical use to get quick advice on a patient’s case without seeing the patient directly. Helps make faster and more informed decisions.
Referrals (Create & Track Referrals) – Send structured referrals in a few taps; follow status from Sent → Received → Accepted → Scheduled → Closed.
- TreatChat (Secure HIPAA-Compliant Messaging) – Direct messages and group threads for quick questions, attachments, and hand‑offs.
- Connections (Find and Connect With Doctors) – Search the verified directory by specialty, location, and availability to route referrals intelligently.
- DoctorFacts (Manage Doctor Profiles) – Claim your profile, update contact preferences, and set your booking or referral links.
- Stay notified – Actionable alerts for new referrals, status changes, and mentions.
