Even though we have not lived in Pittsburgh for many years, we like to keep up with the latest happenings - particularly sports. This app does a great job! I have followed the Pirates and Steelers since about 1939 when I started listening to Rosy Rosewell on the radio. My wife is from Pittsburgh and I grew up in Mercer County. News is great, the app is terrible.

You can’t scroll. Because of the huge amount of ads that keep refreshing, as you scroll through it keeps popping back to the top of the page and you have to start scrolling again. Getting to the bottom is impossible if you scroll slowly. You have to zoom through the articles fast before it pops you back to the top. Then the ads are ultra repetitive. I understand the ads are necessary, but it is the same ad in between every article as you scroll. If I opened a newspaper that had only one ad in it hundreds of times, I would burn it while I still had my sanity.

Bugs make it almost unbearable

The news is great. Most everything loads ok. Sometimes stories don’t show the bottom section due to ads. Scrolling through stories is annoying because it randomly resets your spot as your scrolling, i assume due to ads loading. Aside from those 2 things, it’s a good app. But, the annoyance level almost makes me want to quit it
