Better Favourites Favouriting trips is now smoother and instant, with a clearer star icon right on every trip. Your favourites are now saved per account and sync beautifully across the app. Smarter Trip Ownership If the original creator leaves a trip, ownership now automatically transfers to another participant — keeping the trip fully manageable for everyone. Trip Details Refined Favourites update instantly, navigation is smoother, and several layout issues were polished for a cleaner look. Improved Sync & Stability More reliable Firestore syncing, faster updates, and a handful of fixes across the app.

You can now add your trips and segments directly to your Apple or Google Calendar! We’ve also improved trip invitations and made profile info and images sync more reliably. Various bug fixes and performance improvements make TripMates smoother than ever.

Brand-New Map View for Trips • Added a beautiful interactive world map that displays all your trips with location-based pins. • Each trip pin now shows the trip name and icon directly on the map. • Tap a pin to instantly open the Trip Detail View. • Automatic zoom and centering to show all trips together, adjusting dynamically as you add or edit trips. Improved Trip Location System • Trips and segments now save latitude and longitude coordinates in Core Data for precise mapping. • Locations entered while adding or editing trips or segments are now geocoded automatically. • Fixed map synchronization so updates appear in real-time after saving. Updated Segment Features • Added segment map view showing your journey path and numbered stops in chronological order. • Improved editing flow for trip segments, including smarter location handling and better stability. Smarter Trip Sharing • Trip invites now include universal links that open the TripMates app directly when installed. • The deep link system (using Apple App Site Association) is fully integrated and tested. • Users on older app versions will still see the invite page on the web. Interface and Stability Enhancements • Map performance improved to prevent crashes and memory issues. • Refined state management for safe, smooth navigation between views. • Filter logic refined so trip list filters (Upcoming, Past, All) and map view work independently.
