Description

This is an app for communicating with Trovan® LID-710BLE Reader.

For this app to work you need a Trovan® LID-710BLE Reader.

The Trovan® LID-710BLE is a small, low cost and ergonomic RFID reader designed to be used with smart-phones and tablets. It’s simple, single push button operation makes it very easy to use.
The reader communicates via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), allowing instant data transfer via the Trovan® LID-710 APP. No pairing required.

The LID-710 reader is well-suited for use in asset management and route accounting applications and has been optimized for reading transponders mounted on steel and metal surfaces. It operates in two modes: pass-through mode, which transmits each ID number via BLE as soon as it is read; and RED List mode, which allows the operator to store up to 100,000 codes in memory with time and date stamp, for later batch downloading.

At the operator’s option, a list of ID numbers can be pre-loaded in memory, allowing the operator to determine whether a given scanned item has been flagged for special treatment (RED list mode).

The reader is designed to work with all TrovanUnique™ transponders

Trovan® RFID technology is used globally in applications which require; reliability, longevity and a 100% read rate. The technology is designed to operate in harsh and ultra-harsh environmental conditions including; embedded in metal, mounted on metal or fully submerged in liquids.
