TrustBirr helps Ethiopian merchants verify payment receipts before they hand over goods. Photograph a Telebirr or bank transfer screenshot (or use the receipt QR). TrustBirr reads the reference and checks it with the bank or wallet, then shows a clear verified, flagged, or unverifiable result big enough to read at the counter. Works with major Ethiopian providers including CBE, Telebirr, Bank of Abyssinia, Awash, and Dashen. Built for the till: • Fast camera capture with QR when available • Verified / flagged / unverifiable verdicts • Duplicate transfer detection • Branch and staff roles for shops with more than one till • Reports and a receipt log for the owner • English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo Accounts and credit packs are set up on the TrustBirr website.
